Educational Qualification:

  • Assistant Director (Sericulture): (I). Bachelors degree in Science with Biology, Chemistry or Agriculture from a University established under law in India or a degree declared by the Government as equivalent thereto.

(ii) Training from a recognized Sericulture Institute.

(iii) Experience of two years in Sericulture.

  • Assistant Engineer (Civil): Degree in Civil Engineering from any recognized Institution or equivalent qualification or A.M.I.E. (India) (Section ‘A’ and ‘B’ passed).
  • Lecturer “Shalya Tantra”: (i) Five years Degree in Ayurveda from a University established by law or the Board of Indian Medicine, Uttar Pradesh or any other State Board or Faculty which is registrable under the United Provinces Indian Medicine Act, 1939.

(ii) Post-Graduate qualification of the subject from a recognized Institution.

(iii) Working knowledge of Hindi, English, and Sanskrit.

  • Principal: (i) Five years’ Degree in Unani from a University established by law or five years Degree from the Board of Indian Medicine, Uttar Pradesh or from any other State Board or Faculty which is registrable under the United Provinces Indian Medicine Act, 1939.

(ii) 12 Years Teaching experience (10 years only in case of a Post Graduate) including at least five years of administrative experience as Professor or as Head of Department.

(iii) Working knowledge of Hindi, English, and Urdu or Arabic or Persian.

  • Reader Niswan Wa kabalat: (i) Five years Degree in Unani from a University established by law or five years Degree from the board of Indian Medicine, Uttar Pradesh or any other State Board or Faculty which is registrable under the United Provinces Indian Medicine Act. 1939.

(ii) Seven years of teaching the experience of the subject (Five Years for a post-Graduate) in a recognized Institution.

(iii) Working knowledge of Hindi, English, and Urdu or Arabic or Persian.

  • Medical Officer: (a) A degree in Unani Tib of a University established by law in India. Or Five years degree or diploma in Unani Tib of the Board of Indian medicine, U.P.

(b) Registration as a Hakeem with the Board of Indian Medicine, U.P.

(c) At least six-month professional experience of state unani or Allopathic Hospital or Dispensary.
